The new book 鈥淚nvoking the Fathers: Dangerous Metaphors and Founding Myths in Congressional Politics鈥� by Dr. Sarah Kornfield of the Hope College communication faculty, published this month by Johns Hopkins University Press, examines the impact of the phrase 鈥淔ounding Fathers鈥� as code for a particular political outlook.
Holland Area Arts Council Featuring Hope Student-Faculty Exhibition
The Holland Area Arts Council will feature the collaborative student-faculty exhibition 鈥淪tanding Upright and Hanging by a Thread鈥� by Hope College senior studio art major Sophia Funston and Lisa Walcott, who is an associate professor of art at the college, from Friday, Oct. 11, through Friday, Nov. 1.
