Knickerbocker Spring Film Series Continues on March 31 – April 12
鶹Ƶվ Knickerbocker Theatre will continue its spring film series with the Academy Award-winning film “I’m Still Here” and Academy Award-nominated film “The Seed of the Sacred Fig” from March 31 through April 12 at 7 p.m.

鶹Ƶվ Orchestra will preview its upcoming performance at Carnegie Hall with a concert at Hope on Friday, April 4, at 7 p.m. in the Concert Hall of the Jack H. Miller Center for Musical Arts.
Students to Present Creative and Research Projects on April 11
Original research by Hope students on topics ranging from the foraging efficiency of sparrows, to the effect of high-tempo music on sprint swimming, to anti-immigrant violence in the United Kingdom, to Don Quixote and social media will be highlighted during the college’s annual A. Paul and Carol C. Schaap Celebration of Undergraduate Research and Creative Activity on Friday, April 11, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Richard and Helen DeVos Fieldhouse.
De Pree Gallery to Feature Annual Senior Art Exhibition
The De Pree Art Center and Gallery at Hope College will feature “Not to Get Political…,” presenting work by graduating studio-art and art-history majors, in the college’s annual Senior Art Exhibition from Friday, April 11, through Friday, May 2.
Author-Filmmaker Curtis Chin to Present Asian Heritage Lecture April 8
Filmmaker Curtis Chin, author of “Everything I Learned, I Learned in a Chinese Restaurant: A Memoir,” will present the 2025 Asian Heritage Lecture at Hope College on Tuesday, April 8, at 3:30 p.m. in the Concert Hall of the Jack H. Miller Center for Musical Arts.
Hope College Theatre to Present “Sense and Sensibility”
鶹Ƶվ Department of Theatre will present Kate Hamill’s “Sense and Sensibility” on Friday-Saturday, April 4-5, and Thursday-Saturday, April 10-12, at 7:30 p.m., along with a free 2 p.m. matinee on Sunday, April 6. All performances will be in the DeWitt Center main theatre.

Dr. Jeffrey Crouch, who is author of the book “The Presidential Pardon Power,” will present “The History of the Presidential Pardon Power” on Thursday, March 27, at 4:30 p.m. at 鶹Ƶվ in Schaap Auditorium of the Jim and Martie Bultman Student Center.

Hope College Screening the Documentary Film “T-Rex” on March 26
The documentary film “T-Rex,” which is about Claressa "T-Rex" Shields from Flint, who at age 17 became the first woman in history to win the gold medal in the 2012 Olympic boxing, will be shown at Hope College on Wednesday, March 26, at 6:30 p.m. in the Knickerbocker Theatre.
Hope to Screen Film Emphasizing Importance of Math Literacy for Democracy and Economic Opportunity
The documentary film “Counted Out,” which emphasizes math literacy’s importance for democracy and economic opportunity, will be screened twice at Hope College on Tuesday, March 25, at 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. at the Knickerbocker Theatre in downtown Holland.
Lark, Roman, Meyer Trio to Perform on March 27
Three incredible musicians, including seven-time Grammy winner bassist Edgar Meyer, will combine for an evening of classical and contemporary music through the Great Performance Series at Hope College on Thursday, March 27, at 7:30 p.m. in the Concert Hall of the Jack H.
