outside of hope

Carrie and her husband, Joe, met at Notre Dame and married in 1996. He teaches history and English for Holland Public Schools. They have three busy boys, Thomas, Sean, and Michael, and most of their evenings during the school year are spent driving around Holland to attend various sporting and extracurricular events. The Dummer’s also have a rescue dog named Louie who "fits right in" to the noise and chaos of a home with three boys.

In her spare time, Carrie enjoys cheering on her boys, keeping the family and home running smoothly, going for quiet walks around the Holland lakeshore area, spending time with friends and family and going to Pilates. As a family, the Dummer’s love to travel and have enjoyed trips to Alaska and Montana in recent years. She and her family have more adventures planned for the future.
