Approximately 680 graduating seniors participated in the ceremony, held on Sunday, May 5 at Ray and Sue Smith Stadium. The class consisted of students from across the United States and around the world.

A total of 63 of Hope College’s graduating seniors and recent graduates have been initiated into the college’s Zeta of Michigan chapter of Phi Beta Kappa, the nation’s oldest scholastic honorary society.
With Hope College’s Commencement marking both an ending and a beginning for the Class of 2024, featured speaker the Rev. Shomari Tate reflected on four lessons revealed by Christ’s life, sacrificial death and the transformational beginning that Jesus made possible.

A West Ottawa High School senior will be the first in her family to graduate high school. Salazar plans to major in political science and minor in religious studies at Hope.
鶹Ƶվ Knickerbocker Theatre in downtown Holland will feature films from four different countries from May 13 through June 8, featuring food, fun, love and a monk with a gun. All films begin at 7:30 p.m.
